Where Light Grows is a personal color grading study built around themes of memory, growth, and human connection. The visual approach focused on creating a soft, dreamlike atmosphere through warm highlights, gentle contrast, and natural skin tones. Inspired by nostalgic coming-of-age films and naturalistic cinematography, the grade emphasizes the interaction between sunlight, texture, and organic color. The project explores how color can support emotion without drawing attention to itself, using subtle tonal separation, controlled highlight roll-off, and a delicate balance between warmth and softness.
