The Red Lantern is a personal color grading study exploring themes of identity, reflection, and visual contrast through a contemporary music video aesthetic. Built around a palette of deep reds, soft magentas, and cool daylight highlights, the grade seeks to create a dreamlike atmosphere while maintaining natural skin rendition and believable tonal relationships. The look was developed to enhance the emotional tension between warmth and isolation, using color as a narrative tool rather than a purely stylistic effect. The project focuses on look development, shot matching, and subtle highlight shaping to create a cohesive visual language across the sequence.
